The structure in the church enables discipline to restore, protect and forgive.
How do we understand the Sacraments? They are a visible sign of an inward grace. There are 2 sacraments: baptism and the Lord’s Supper.
Today we look at one of the ‘marks of the church’: preaching. Preaching is ‘proclaiming Jesus so that we might know His riches, through belief in Him, by grace.’ We look at this topic under four headings: Proclaim, Perfect, Protect, Perseverance’.
God has made his Son, Jesus Christ, the head of the church. Prophecies describe him as being the Cornerstone of the church.
