Exciting and dramatic events have been described earlier in the book of Acts. Jesus has ascended into heaven, Pentecost has happened, Stephen has been stoned, Paul has been converted and so we come to the end of Paul’s missionary journeys. After Acts 21, the story changes and focuses on Paul’s defence after his arrest. Paul gives his testimony in Jerusalem to the Jews and then is taken before the Sanhedrin. The Lord’s will be done.
